Hehe. This project has pretty much consumed my entire day.
My submission for the In Game painting contest for Star Wars Galaxies. There are no good beastmaster paintings in game and since that is my faaavorite profession, I decided to make one.
Damiat, my Bothan jedi/beastmaster character with his Rancor, Domokun. He's not my main character, but I decided to go with him instead of my main because I wanted to do the fur details.
To be honest... I'm not expecting to win... or even to get into the final six... but I had a lot of fun making this, which makes it worthwile. Interesting, though. In the line art stage I hated the way the rancor looked, but no that he's colored, I think he's my favorite part of the picture.
This is the large version of this picture. Since the submission had to be a certain size... without borders... I had to cut it down about. Version I'm submitting to the contest can be found here: [link]
